Katy Brady and Kim Steele front the pop band ReignDown
that showcases a strength in song writing coupled with
instrumental talent. Lyrically, Katy and Kim, who share
the writing chores, place an emphasis on personal life
stories within a strong pop musical texture. In their
music, ReignDown reflects the realities of life, yet
in the midst of struggle, seeking and ultimately finding
love, hope and grace. From pop/ccm influences, their
style incorporates catchy hook-laden melodies and well
arranged pop structures.
Katy Brady, lead vocalist, keyboard and songwriter for
ReignDown, is a graduate of Grand Canyon University (Pheonix,
AZ) with a degree in vocal performance. She teaches voice
and piano and serves on her church's praise and worship
team at Rockpoint Church in Queen Creek, AZ.
Kim Steele, guitarist and songwriter for ReignDown,
has been a performing musician for over 20 years. Kim
graduated from college with degrees in classical and
studio guitar, and a B.A. in Communications/Commercial
Music. Currently, Kim is a guitar instructor both privately
and in the school setting. She also serves in her church
as guitarist and bassist for the praise and worship teams.
