Bringing the Savior back to the Republic
In 1992 a civil war ended – but all the violence didn’t end with it. Despite a relatively high GDP for the region, El Salvador has a high homicide rate and a major problem with gangs. Without a foundation of faith, angry youths use violence to take what they want… and may even kill those who oppose them. Kidnappings and extortion are commonplace – and in a nation with a high urban population, it’s hard to overlook the constant litany of crimes.
