The work is not finished
Throughout the country of Mexico, a spiritual revolution is
taking place. God’s Spirit is moving, and people
are responding to His call at an ever-astonishing rate.
However, Bible League International recognizes that discipleship does
not end at the salvation experience. Rather, according to the
Director of Latin America Ministries, “Churches know—and
are told repeatedly—that they are not finished with their
evangelism work until the person is a baptized member in
the church.”
New churches springing up
As God’s Word transforms this nation, there is a growing
need for evangelical churches. Bible League International has responded
by equipping those who are best suited to evangelize the people
of this country—the people of Mexico, themselves. The
Bible League has partnered with a record number of denominations
in training nationals with the strategies—and providing
the Scriptures and materials necessary—for effectively
planting churches.
As a result, churches are continuously springing up in areas
where there had previously been no evangelical church presence.
And Mexican believers have rejoiced
to welcome thousands of new baptized members into fellowship
with the body of Christ.
No signs of slowing
The revival in Mexico shows no sign of slowing, and God continues
to impress on new Christians the desire to reach their neighbors.
In your prayers, thank God for His incredible work in this
country. Pray for those who still don’t know of His
love, and that Bible League International will continue to have the
means necessary to equip Christians for service.
