Bible Study and Jesus’ love saved young Bojidar, a Bulgarian gypsy from a life of street crime and sin. Bojidar’s life started to improve the night he heard that people were gathering in a house in his village to attend Bible Study and learn about The Lord. He went and heard God’s word for the first time.
“I was fascinated by the words Dancho (a church planter trained by Bible League International) told us from the Bible—that God loves everyone,” says Bojidar. “He wants us to be saved.”
Bojidar was amazed to discover that God loved him—a Gypsy! He began going to the church planter’s Bible study.
“After I finished the Bible study lessons, I received a Bible. I read it every night. I need Jesus. I don’t want to be the person I was. My Roma parents are against my new Christian faith. I pray that God will change my family through me and His Word.”
