Bible Study Inspires Couple

Romanian man and his young son find peace and acceptance through Bible Study in the Christian church in Romania. On her way home one day, Angela, a Romanian wife and mother, passed an evangelical Christian church. She knew from the architecture it was not a Romanian Orthodox church, yet she was compelled to enter. She felt comfortable and decided to visit again. On her second visit, she and her husband were invited to attend a Bible Study, led by a Bible League International trained church member, to learn what The Church and Jesus Christ would mean to their lives.

With a young son at home and no one to care for him, the couple wasn’t sure if they’d be able to attend. But when a lady from the church volunteered to babysit, the couple became part of the Bible study group.

It wasn’t long, though, before Angela stopped going. Friends pressured her about getting involved with these Christians...this “sect.” She began making excuses: “I’m just too busy to go tonight.”

In the meantime, her husband kept going, and he and the group kept praying for Angela. At home, he encouraged his wife to continue her search for God.

God answered their prayers. Angela returned to the group, where she and Liviu continue to read and study the Bible.

Pray for this young family as God continues to work in their hearts through the joy of Bible Study and Christian fellowship. Pray, too, for their spiritual growth as they face telling their families about their new faith and sharing God’s Word.
