CHICAGO—Christian contemporary performer and
songwriter, Bill Mallia, has partnered with Bible League
to help place Bibles worldwide into the hands of those
starving for the Word of God.
Hailed as the “Jimmy Buffett of the Christian contemporary music scene,” Mallia’s
music is known for its distinctive Caribbean flair. Mallia tours regionally in
the Northeast United States, and also participates in a number of national and
international events. He can often be found ministering in song in Christian
nightclubs, coffeehouses, and on international cruise ships.
Mallia has a passion to feed the spiritually hungry and will act as a spokesman
for Bible League at his shows. In addition, 10 percent of the gross take of each
of his shows will go to Bible League, through his The First Mangos Fund. Mallia
says the purpose behind The First Mangos Fund is influenced by the Scripture
Ezekiel 44:30, which instructs people to give their first fruits to God. “What
better fit than the Bible League feeding the spiritually starving and me out
there alleviating the hunger pangs of the joy-starved Christians of the world,” he
says. Mallia also has a partnership with Elite Island Resorts. When individuals
book a vacation through the company, a portion of money received from the booking
goes to The First Mangos Fund—further supporting Bible League ministry.
Bible League currently places Scriptures in approximately 120 languages and has
active ministry in more than 60 countries across Africa, Asia, Europe, Latin
America, Middle East, North America, and the former Soviet Union. As a new Bible
League Artist Partner, Mallia is now available to perform concerts for churches
and other audiences in support of Bible League ministry—aiding in the Great
Commission by providing the Gospel to people throughout these nations.
When he’s not travelling, Mallia resides in southeastern Massachusetts.
He recently released his debut album “Barefeet First,” a collection
of cheery, feel-good tunes with Christian lyrics.
