Woman from hispanic woman stands in her local church after receiving Bible training in her hispanic community where religious freedom is happening and many are learning how to fulfill the great commission.

Monica had thought about sharing her faith with friends and co-workers. But until she took training in evangelism and discipleship from Bible League International at her local church in Atlanta, she lacked the confidence to openly talk with someone about her relationship with Jesus.Monica and Karen became friends at work. "Karen was always sad and sometimes depressed," says Monica.

"It didn't take long for me to hear Karen's sad story. She liked to spend her evenings at the clubs, dancing and drinking. But still she felt lonely. I had invited her to church in the past, but she wasn't interested.

Discipling in desperation

"Karen came to the point where she didn't have any money. She was behind on her bills and she didn't know what to do.

"After going through the Bible League's evangelism training at my church, I had the courage to talk to Karen about Jesus.

"When I gave her the Gospel of John, I said, ‘Please read this very short story about the only person who can change your life forever. His name is Jesus.'

"A few days later, Karen approached me, wanting to talk. I can't tell you the joy I had when she asked me to pray for her. She was tired of the miserable life she'd been living and she wanted a new beginning.

A changed life

"Karen is a new person. It had been so long since I had seen her smile. Her father was even able to help with her bills.

Karen's life has been changed because she read the story of a man she could not see. She chose to place her trust in Him and she believed that He could change her. He is the same man who changed my life—Jesus."
