Spiritual revolution
God’s blessing is not limited to a particular region—in fact, His
Spirit is sweeping across Mexico. Record numbers of denominations have begun
to partner with the Bible League, because they have seen God changing many
lives through its powerful method of ministry.
Intentionally linking evangelism and discipleship, the Bible League trains
people to study the Bible and share it with others—implementing a proven
model of ministry that is reaping results around the world. Of
the many Mexicans—now
more than two million—who have graduated from these studies, each one
now holds his or her own precious copy of the Scriptures.
The Word of God has now reached dozens of remote, indigenous language groups—many
for the first time! What’s more, among these groups where illiteracy
runs rampant. Bible League-trained workers are using God’s Word to teach
people how to read in their own “heart languages.” They are learning
the skills to last them a lifetime, and hearing the hope that will span throughout
eternity.
The Holy Spirit is also at work in the major cities, particularly Mexico
City and Monterrey. Recent concentrated efforts within these two metro
areas have now brought the hope of the Gospel message to a half-million
people and left each one with a Bible of their own to continue their
seeking and study.
Fanning the flame
God hears our prayers for His children in Mexico. Pray that He will continue
to lead the Bible League to areas that are still to be reached by the
hope of the Gospel. Pray also that that God will bless a new project
recently begun to reach Latin American children.
