Look at the fields!
When speaking of the miracles of God, there’s no greater topic than the
Philippine Islands. Servants trained by Bible League International stand in awe as thousands
of Filipinos give their hearts to Christ each year. Jesus’ words say
it best: “I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are
ripe for harvest!” (John 4:35)
In fact, when it comes to the ministry of Bible League International, the Philippines
continue to lead the world in measurable results, as each day God adds more
to the millions of Filipinos who have graduated from Bible studies. These graduates
leave with the seeds of the Gospel planted in their hearts by the instruction
they’ve received, and the very breath of God at their fingertips in the
pages of the precious book they now possess.
In addition to providing Scriptures, Bible League International trains people to study
the Bible and share it with others. This is done by intentionally linking evangelism
and discipleship—implementing a proven model of ministry that is reaping
results around the world.
Beyond the numbers
Standing alone, the statistics are impressive. But the real story is the people
behind the numbers. Bible League International files are stacked with Filipino testimonies
beginning, “Before I met Christ, I was: a drug addict…an adulterer…a
gambler…lost.” Touched by the message of the Gospel, these people
are now not only transformed—but also fired-up about reaching their
neighbors!
There’s more to come
Filipino Christians trained by Bible League International continue to reach out to those who
are still lost—including several yet-unreached people groups. Booklets
have also been developed to meet the growing need for children’s materials.
With as much as He’s already done, God still has much more in store
for the people of the Philippine Islands. Pray that Bible League International’s
work will be able to continue until every last person has been reached by the
hope of the Gospel.
