Project Philip home Bible studyChina—Prayer powers ministry

Penetrating hard hearts
After my Bible League training, I felt called to share the Gospel in my hometown. Within a week of my return, I realized nobody was interested—people weren’t open to hearing the Good News. I asked myself, “What should I do?” Then I remembered my training—I remembered that part of being a good witness for Jesus was spending quiet time with Him. So I started to pray.

The first Bible study
After a full day of prayer, my aunt asked me if I could tell her about God. The next day her neighbors came to the house to study the Bible. This is how God answered my prayer and used me to start the first Bible study group in my hometown!

Good News spreads
I have since started four small group Bible studies. I’ve helped 218 people earn their own copy of the Scriptures, and led 24 people to accept Jesus! All this was possible, not by my own efforts, but by my greatest God! Praise Him!

Pray for more workers
Pray that God will call more people like Ms. Wang to lead Bible studies in their hometown.
