Ameer is a church planter in Sri Lanka. With the coaching he’s received through Bible League’s Church Planter Training Program, he’s started 3 churches and 5 small groups (or “cell groups”) in his community.
Even though Ameer’s churches are halfway around the world in a different culture with a different language, the same Gospel message that changed your life has taken root in Sri Lanka and transformed the lives of 450 people.
This is how new churches begin in places that have none: one person meets Christ. Then another. Then a small group gathers around Scripture. A leader is equipped to teach and disciple. And faith takes root and begins to grow.

On average, it takes $1,500 to equip one church planter like Chandan, for a whole year, with the training and tools they need to plant a new church. We’re trusting God for $75,000 by September 30—enough to train 50 new church planters.
- $29 – the cost of roughly 1 week of church planter training, where a focused mentor will disciple a new church planter
- $58 – the average cost of 2 weeks of church planter training, where they are coached on sending out new believers with the Gospel
- $125 – one month’s worth of training through which hundreds will hear the Gospel and grow in faith as a new church plant starts to take root
