The Church Relations & Research (CRR) Intern will quickly gain an understanding of our programs and our church relation strategy. The CRR Intern will help ensure that our outreach to lapsed churches is successful as the result of completed research. The CRR Intern will also connect with donors that participated in the Engage My Church initiative, to gain feedback and to propose changes for future campaigns. The intern will also create a marketing plan for our Light of the World Adventure (LOTW) and possibly see some of the recommendations implemented. To top it all off, the intern will have the opportunity to join the Donor Relations Team’s morning prayer calls, work with other Believers and help the ministry make impact. This internship duration is expected to be from June 2025-September 2025.

Duties

  1. Research recently lapsed churches, to confirm the state of operation (dissolved or fully operating), and to gain updated contact information.
  2. Gain insights on the recent Evangelist Segment Campaign. Connect with donors who received the call to action of connecting their church with BLI who
    • enrolled but did not follow through.
    • were successful in recruiting their church as a BLI supporter.
  1. Review the LOTW program and develop a relaunching and marketing plan.
  2. Research immigrant trends and identify immigration residence patterns, and identity where the under-resourced churches/communities are in the US. This information will be used to create a case for support for the US Ministry.
  3. As assigned, assist the Donor Relations Team with lapsed donor calls.
  4. Performs other duties as requested.

Qualifications

  1. Must be a Christian, having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must also agree with our statement of faith and conduct his/herself in a Christ-like manner.
  2. Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree program in marketing, business administration, ministry, non-profit administration, or a related field.
  3. Appreciates and enjoys conversations over the phone.
  4. Research and analysis skills.
  5. Microsoft Office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  6. Database entry and analysis.
  7. Process and detailed oriented.
  8. Discretionary and high-level of confidentiality (Virtuous).

Performance Evaluations

You will meet with your manager quarterly in alignment with our fiscal year to discuss your accomplishments and priorities.
