Project Manager, Marketing and Communications

The Marketing & Communications team is highly collaborative; it works together to develop and distribute content across print, broadcast, digital, and other channels to bear witness of God’s redeeming work through Bible League International. Ultimately, this team works to deepen donors’ experience of, connection with, and commitment to Bible League International. Additionally, it seeks to increase Bible League International’s brand awareness and acquire new donors. This team is comprised of staff from all over the world. The Project Manager will serve a critical role to make collaboration between teams organized and timely. This role will primarily manage the content pipeline across channels from campaign concept, resource gathering, content creation, and finally to delivery.

The position will use available resources and technologies to help the team understand and meet deadlines. As much as this is a collaboration position, it is also a communication position critical in keeping the team on course. This role is expected to be self-managed, collaborative, and to assist in identifying where efficiency can be gained.

Additionally, this position will manage the procurement of various resources needed to fulfill marketing requests and other special projects (example: brochures, receipt inserts, BLI yearly calendars, etc.). Managing the relationships with various vendors, obtaining printing quotes, and issuing printing specifications is integral to this role.

1. Serve the Radio, Digital, Editorial, and Global Communications teams by:

a. Managing their content pipelines
b. Coordinating with Development Services to establish campaign launch and drop dates
c. Giving updates and progress reports
d. Managing the Project Management tool/technology
e. Routing all the Marketing and Communications content pieces through the correct editing, procurement, and invoicing processes
f. Assisting in managing Radio Marketing campaigns
g. Providing insight and suggestions in creating more efficient pipeline processes

2. Serve stakeholders who desire printed communications by:

a. Managing all requests for printing in-house: envelopes, receipt letters, receipt letter inserts
b. Managing relationships with vendors by obtaining printing quotes, defining printing specifications, and communicating ensuring projects are completed on time and at price quoted

3. Perform other responsibilities, as requested by the Senior Director of Marketing and Communications

  1. Must be a Christian, having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must also agree with our statement of faith and conduct his/herself in a Christ-like manner.
  2. 5 years of experience in managing several large projects simultaneously
  3. Must be able to effectively communicate and collaborate with team members and 3rd parties
  4. Must be able to self-manage and be highly organized
  5. Must be comfortable with learning new and managing software
  6. Must be flexible in process management
  7. Project Management Certification preferred
  8. Experience with Project Management software
  9. Able to analyze processes and develop actionable insights
  10. Able to build and maintain relationships within a global and matrixed organization
  11. Direct Response marketing, printing, and/or related experience preferred

Performance Evaluations

You will meet with your manager in alignment with our fiscal year to discuss accomplishments and priorities four times per fiscal year.
