The U. S. Ministry Specialist helps advance the Gospel throughout the United States by coordinating training, fulfillment, and volunteer activities as an essential member of Bible League’s US Ministries team.

1. Partnerships and Program Implementation:

a. In collaboration with the U.S. Ministries team, forecast annual training and resource needs as well as fulfillment of material.
b. Work with publishing team to coordinate Inventory of Bibles and training resources for use in US Ministry.
c. Establish and maintain a positive working relationship with the publishing team and warehouse personnel.
d. Track program outcomes through designated systems.

2. Program Assessment and Oversight:

a. Schedule and conduct quarterly check-ins with partners to ensure they have material and support they need and to obtain feedback and reporting on program outcomes.
b. Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with U.S. Ministry Program volunteers (Master Trainers for PP, CPT and BBL).
c. Follow-up on inquiries for all U.S. ministry initiatives and programs. Collaborate with U.S. Ministry Trainers to schedule requested trainings.
d. Assist with programming of all events including the scheduling, registration, facilitation and/or note-taking, and evaluation as requested.

3. Assist the Bible League Volunteer Ambassador movement, ensuring volunteers feel highly valued.

a. Follow up on inquiries. Includes phone, mail, and email communication.
b. Assist with internal and remote events from preparation to execution, including committee participation, mailings, record keeping, event set-up, hospitality.
c. Assist with preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports (financial and written).
d. Provide collateral materials to volunteers, churches, and schools.
e. Conduct Bible League building tours as needed.

4. Collaborate in the preparation of the following:

a. Monthly and quarterly ministry reports.
b. Gathering and collecting testimonies, stories and prayer requests related to the programs from the field.
c. Annual project plans and budgets.
d. Where/When necessary, oversee the translation of reports, testimonies, and stories from a local language to English.
e. Assist with travel arrangements. Assist with trip planning, including ordering, gathering, and shipping training supplies and biblical resources.
f. Maintain the U.S. Ministry travel spreadsheet and as needed submit Travel Request forms.
g. Update the U.S. Ministry webpage as needed. Respond to Training Request forms submitted via webpage, email, or mail.

Responsible to: V.P. of Donor and Church Relations
Collaborates with: U.S. Church and program team, U.S. Ministry Support and U.S. Ministry Engagement and U.S. Ministry Trainers.


1. Must be a Christian, having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must also agree with our statement of faith and conduct his/herself in a Christ-like manner.
2. Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree-level training or equivalent level of experience.
3. Must have good experience and exposure to missions and Christian ministry and demonstrate a strong commitment to service.
4. Must be able to serve all with respect, without bias and discrimination, motivated by Christ’s love for all people.
5. Should be accurate, efficient and computer literate able to proficiently apply the use of Microsoft Office applications, as well as learn other relevant software and database applications.
6. Should possess good written and verbal communication skills, including courteous and professional telephone presence.
7. Should have good administrative skills to support the programs in an effective and efficient manner.
8. Should have flexibility necessary to manage and prioritize numerous tasks simultaneously with multiple interruptions and the willingness to undertake any other duties as shall be assigned
9. Demeanor should be positive, friendly, calm, and respectful in working with colleagues, volunteers, and a diverse public.
10. Servant-heart, creative, with attention to detail.
11. Travel required up to 40% of the time with flexibility to accommodate the needs of the job.
12. Ability to bend and stoop and lift up to 40 lbs.

Performance Evaluations

You will meet with your manager in alignment with our fiscal year to discuss accomplishments and priorities four times per fiscal year.
