US Ministries Project Coordinator

Summary

This team member will work with the core team in managing the development, goals, tracking and results of Projects initiated by the US Ministry team. This includes administrative support including organizing, scheduling, coordinating, researching, compiling, and exchanging information for US Ministry.

This person will work closely with the VP of US Church and Donor Relations (VP) in making sure that BL is represented well to all who inquire about the US Ministry and BL. They will also be responsible for follow up and relationships with key leaders, outside the organization.

Duties

  1. Is the chief coordinator who will initiate, updates and checks progress on each USM project to make sure they are on track.
  2. Responsible for maintaining list of USM trainers for PP, BLT and CRT as well as participants for any of these programs. This individual is also responsible for follow up of the trainers as well as participants.
  3. This person will be responsible for maintaining and tracking the active progress and development of new recruits for USM, their training schedules, correspondence and progress. This individual will be responsible for scheduling these trainers at churches and track progress reports and stories from each events.
  4. Will be the key correspondent with key leaders, with whom the VP has relationships with, as well as those that we will continue to develop.
  5. Keeps Insightly updated with all contacts and communication. Conducts initial research for projects and procedural development utilizing Insightly.
  6. Works with the Director of Ministry Support on Volunteer projects in a timely manner as well as other regular items/events approved by the VP.
  7. Works with the VP to maintain his schedules, travel requests, correspondence, and coordination of team activities and schedule.
  8. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Follow up with our ministry trainers along with denominational leaders and their needs will be essential.
  9. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  10. Travel as required (estimated travel will be up to 15% of annual work time).
  11. Performs additional duties as required.

Organizational Relationships

Reports to: Vice President of US Church and Donor Relations.

Collaborates with: US Ministries Team, field trainers, and volunteers.

Qualifications

  1. Must be a Christian, having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Must also agree with our statement of faith and conduct his/herself in a Christ-like manner.
  2. Bachelor’s degree required along with 2-3 years of administrative support experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
  4. Must be highly organized and administrative, persistent and have a gracious spirit in doing so.
  5. Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Excel, Word, Insightly and Outlook.
  6. Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Performance Evaluations

You will meet with your manager in alignment with our fiscal year to discuss accomplishments and priorities four times per fiscal year.
