For I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord. When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.
Romans 1:11-12 NLT

Please visit https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/traveler/none/argentina and https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/traveler/none/paraguay to see what vaccinations may be recommended. Then talk with your primary care provider at least one month before leaving regarding which vaccinations you should obtain.
On or before the end of February 2027, Maritza, the primary contact for this trip, will book her flight. She will then share her flights information and arrival/departure times with those who sign up for the trip.
Take note that this is not a round trip. You will need to select the “multicity” option when booking your flights, as you will arrive in Argentina and depart from Paraguay. It is best to wait to purchase your flights until you have the information from Maritza.
We are anticipating 8 to 10 supporters to join us. In addition, there will be a couple of Bible League International team members present. There are only 10 spots available to purchase.
Our field partners will pick up all the travelers. They will be holding a large Bible League sign so that you can easily identify them after you go through customs and collect your luggage.
You will already have met our host team during the online “meet and greet” session that will take place weeks before the trip.
We will have full days, so the time to enjoy the amenities will be somewhat limited.
Yes. More details will be shared during the Meet & Greet Zoom meeting.
This trip is designed to give you a better idea of how your partnership with Bible League International is assisting under-resourced churches in Argentina and in Paraguay. It does not include an opportunity for a hands-on, work-related project. You are invited to share your testimony, words of encouragement, and/or pray during the ministry visits. Most importantly, you will get to know Bible League-trained leaders and local believers and hear directly from them on how God is using our evangelism and discipleship programs to transform lives and communities.
We will have a couple of translators available to help you embrace the experience. We also encourage you to download a translation app on your phone, as that can help you better understand conversations during times that our translators are taking breaks.
As noted in the flyer, this trip has a MODERATE degree of difficulty, which is defined as ‘needing the ability to walk about 1 mile.’ We will encounter mostly flat land, along with some hills and some unpaved, sandy, or muddy areas. We expect to go up and down stairs during the trip. You should also be aware that we may often be riding in a vehicle for 1 to 3 hours at a time.
Depending on your goals, we recommend that you exchange no more than $150 USD into the local currency. Given that we will be visiting two countries, we suggest no more than $75 per country. If you plan to exchange money, it is best to do it at the airport. As of September 15, 2026
1.00 USD = 1,508.7878 ARS – Argentine Peso
1.00 USD = 5,984.8013 PYG – Paraguayan Guarani

It is something all travelers should consider. One suggestion for you to consider is International Travel Medical Insurance via World Trips / Atlas International Travel Insurance – www.worldtrips.com. The plan provides options for Crisis Response, Personal Liability, Accidental Death, or all three. Consider bundling all three. In addition to the country of travel, you will need to provide the following information:
Argentina brings late autumn conditions, which vary significantly by region as winter approaches in the south. Days are cool and pleasant with average highs around 58°F to 61°F (14°C to 16°C), dropping to lows of 48°F to 51°F (9°C to 11°C) at night.
Paraguay brings mild, dry, and pleasant winter weather, making it one of the best times of the year for sightseeing. Days average around 73°F to 74°F (23°C). Nights average around 58°F (14°C), though cooler snaps can occur.
You will receive the itinerary several days before our meet-and-greet Zoom meeting. It is important to know that the schedule may change due to an unexpected ministry visit request. We will have morning and/or evening debriefs to share the day's schedule. Plus, we will use WhatsApp, a free downloadable communication app, to communicate any changes. A typical day includes:
Pray for the host team and the group that will be traveling. Pray for unity, fellowship, and understanding. Understand that the cultural experience may be different from what you are accustomed to. We encourage you to embrace the experience and to be flexible, as daily schedules may change.
