ARRIVE: Saturday, April 18
DEPART: Saturday, April 25

For I long to visit you so I can bring you some spiritual gift that will help you grow strong in the Lord. When we get together, I want to encourage you in your faith, but I also want to be encouraged by yours.
Romans 1:11-12 NLT

You will see how God is working in the hearts and lives in the people of Chile.

You’ll be part of vibrant and joyous worship with brothers and sisters in Christ. You’ll witness firsthand how God is using you to grow His Church. You’ll encourage believers in their faith and hear their heartfelt words of thanks. What a blessing! Save the date in your calendar now as registration details for both of these trips will be shared soon.

Please contact your Donor Relations representative today for more information! Or email [email protected]. Trip itinerary, fees, and other details to come.

The $2,100 per person cost covers the following:

  • Hotel Accommodations
  • Host services and translation
  • Three daily meals, snacks, and bottled water
  • Daily ground transportation

Please note that the $2,100 fee does not include your round-trip flight from the USA to Chile’s Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport in Santiago or any vaccinations you may need.

Individuals will have their hotel rooms, and married couples will also have their room to share. We will stay at the Hotel Fundador (https://fundador.cl/) in Santiago for all seven nights of our trip.

There are two ways to register:

  1. The preferred route is online. Please visit https://registration.socio.events/e/chile2026 to submit your payment.
  2. The second option is to send an email to [email protected], informing the team that you will be paying via check. Payment ($AMOUNT per person) should be received on or before the registration deadline of March 4, 2026.

You will receive a Welcome email shortly after submitting the payment due at registration. You will receive three meeting invitations. A pre-orientation call with the trip organizer will schedule a pre-orientation call with you one to two weeks after you register. The second virtual meeting will be a “meet and greet.” During that meeting, you will have the opportunity to meet your fellow travelers, including your host partners and Bible League staff members who will be joining you. The third meeting will be a prayer call several days before the trip.

For U.S. citizens, a visa is not required to enter Chile for tourist or business stays of up to 90 days. Upon arrival, travelers will receive a Tourist Card (Tarjeta de Turismo).

When traveling abroad, it is highly recommended that you visit https://wwwnc.cdc.gov and select the country you will be visiting. After visiting https://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/destinations/traveler/none/chile, please talk with your primary care provider regarding which vaccinations you should obtain.

In late February 2026, Maritza, the primary contact for this trip, will book her flight. She will then share her flights and arrival/departure times with you. Be sure to select similar times for your travel to and from Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport in Santiago. It is best to wait to purchase your flights until you have the information from Maritza.

We are planning for 10 to 12 supporters. In addition, three to four Bible League International team members will be part of the trip. There are only 12 spots available for supporters to purchase.

Our Chile Field partners (Manuel, Arturo, and Gabriela) will pick up all the travelers. You will meet our host team during the online “meet and greet” session that will take place weeks before the trip. Plus, they will be holding a large Bible League sign so that you can easily identify them after you go through customs and collect your luggage.

We are still working on the details for the week, but most days will start at 7 am and end at 9 pm.

This trip is designed to give you a better idea of how your partnership with Bible League International is assisting under-resourced churches in Chile with Bibles, Bible study materials, and training. It does not include an opportunity for a hands-on, work-related project. However, you will get to know church planters and local believers and hear directly from them on how God is using Bible League’s evangelism and discipleship programs to transform lives and communities.

We are planning to have a couple of translators available to help you embrace the experience. In addition, our Regional Director and our trip coordinator are fluent in both languages.

As noted in the flyer, this trip has a MODERATE degree of difficulty, which is defined as the ability to walk 2 to 3 miles consecutively.  We will encounter mostly flat land, along with some hills and some unpaved, sandy, or muddy areas. We expect to go up and down stairs during the trip.

Depending on your goals, we recommend that you exchange no more than $150 USD into the local currency. If you plan to exchange money, it is best to do it at the airport or before. As of July 9, 2025, $1 USD= 948.80849 Chilean Peso. To get a current value, visit sites like www.xe.com.

It is something all travelers should consider. One suggestion for you to consider is International Travel Medical Insurance via World Trips / Atlas International Travel Insurance – www.worldtrips.com. The plan provides options for Crisis Response, Personal Liability, Accidental Death, or all three. Consider bundling all three. In addition to the country of travel, you will need to provide the following information:

  • Birthday
  • State of Residence
  • Name
  • Citizenship
  • Passport Number is optional

April marks the beginning of autumn in Chile, a transitional period characterized by cooling temperatures and vibrant fall foliage, especially in the central and southern regions. Expect mild, comfortable temperatures. Average daily highs in Santiago are around 70-75°F (21-24°C) with low humidity and minimal rainfall. Further north, the temperatures remain pleasant.

You will receive the itinerary several days before our meet-and-greet Zoom meeting. It is important to know that the schedule may change due to an unexpected ministry visit request. We will have morning and/or evening debriefs to share daily schedules. Plus, we will use WhatsApp to communicate any changes. An example of typical day includes:

  • Breakfast (Daily Schedule Review)
  • Travel to Ministry Visit
  • 2-hour ministry visit
  • Lunch
  • Travel to Ministry Visit
  • 2-hour ministry visit
  • Travel back to the hotel
  • Rest
  • Dinner at Hotel or local restaurant, with an opportunity to debrief

Pray for the host team and the group that will be traveling. Pray for unity, fellowship, and understanding. Understand that the cultural experience may be different from what you are accustomed to. We encourage you to embrace the experience and to be flexible as daily schedules may change.
