Thailand CropMadam Ubon (left) attends church in Petchabun Province, Thailand. She runs a logistics business with her husband transporting produce to Bangkok. “Business was good, but due to fierce competition, we became bankrupt. We sold all our trucks to offset the debts,” she says. After losing their wealth, they were confused, unable to see a way forward. And the creditors’ harassment made things worse.

The stress and sleepless nights began to affect their health. Pastor Rinnasak from a local church visited the couple and shared the hope found in Jesus, and they committed their lives to Him. It was the first time they said a prayer from their hearts; the words seemed planted by God. Accepting Christ brought an instant rush of inexplicable supernatural joy into Ubon’s soul.

“We attended the Project Philip training at a local church,” she says. “The training strengthened our faith in God.” She felt burdened to share the Good News and her testimony. Bible League materials have benefitted evangelism and discipleship work in Thailand. The practical training and Bible study leaders’ testimonies have blessed those reached.

The couple enjoys the blessing of a peaceful family greater than their riches. They learned to trust in God alone, that He takes care of their problems and that nothing is beyond His reach. Today, God is using them to touch many lives. Thank you for bringing the Project Philip materials and Bibles to communities like Madam Ubon’s.
