Meet Gwendolyn Smith-Brown!

Currently serving as Executive Assistant to the President and CEO, Gwendolyn has been a faithful sister in Christ to her Bible League family for the last 3 years.
Her passion for prayer spills into Bible League, but begins at home and her church fellowship
I am very active in my church – All Nations Church of God In Christ (COGIC). I serve in the Aspiring Missionaries department, and work alongside our First Lady in the Women’s Ministry of our church. I am studying to become a licensed missionary in the COGIC. I continue to intercede in prayer for many others, and I love sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Gwendolyn took her passion for prayer and missions to her first international trip
I took my first ever international trip with Bible League, to Thailand in the Fall of 2023. This trip was so memorable as we celebrated 85 years of ministry, I got to meet Christian brothers and sisters from all over the world, and we had prayer together every day. This was a taste of heaven here on earth. I will forever be touched by this trip.
Being able to meet believers around the world has been an answer to prayers over Gwendolyn’s life
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,” saith the Lord, “thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” Jeremiah 29:11 KJV
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
I love both translations of this verse because it has been these words that my parents continued to speak over my life. And when I think of my father who is now in heaven, I recall his voice declaring God has good plans for your life. I am living out this Scripture, seeing God’s promises come to pass.
