Ever since he gave his life to Jesus more than 40 years ago, Arturo has heeded Jesus’ words in Matthew 4. He’s been bringing people into God’s kingdom! For the past 14 years, he’s served the Lord and people in and around his poor community of San Mateo del Mar, Mexico, as a Bible League-trained church planter.
To support his family, Arturo rises early and spends mornings fishing. In the afternoons, he takes the Good News to people in his community and surrounding areas.
Arturo casts a wide net, helping people to study and come to understand God’s Word. He’s grateful for the Bibles and training you and other Bible League supporters provide. But he also knows that alone doesn’t transform people’s hearts and lives. “I can’t change the situation,” he explains, “but the Holy Spirit can.”

In 1999, Graham Staines and his two young boys were martyred in the tribal village of Manoharpur, India. Fast forward 21 years later, and 62 pastors, 18 church leaders, and many laymen complete the Bible League Project Philip training curriculum for evangelism. In this chat, we will hear from Pastor Girish Marandi who continues to baptize believers in this region. Sign up for the opportunity to hear and ask questions about how God is changing this community!
